Hey, everyone! Due to a copyright claim on a song (that was listed originally as royalty free...), I had to replace the the audio which made some parts of the voice over disappear at the end. Hopefully its pretty easy to tell what's going on, but if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask!

I have a question. Why do you think your hair is long? *sees **1:10* Ohhhhhhh. My dad once had hair that long. You couldn't really tell how long it was though because his hair is as curly as Micheal Jackson.

I have another question. Could you print a DC-15a blaster rifle, a DC-15s, and a pair of DC-17's please?

He buddy, first off the helmet looks great! I have a question about the "welded" areas. What did you use to get that weld-burn look? My guess is a "burnt ochre" n probably some light brown, but thats just a guess. Can you tell us what exactly you used to get that burnt effect? Again, great job!

@@r3gret2079 Thanks! I believe it was a burnt umber acrylic paint. I put some on a brush, wiped nearly all of it off, and dabbed it around the weld marks and continued to build it up.

@@RamenNoodleBudgets aha ok. Cool. Thank you very much for the helpful reply! And again, that helmet is awesome. There's something about a piece that you basically make yourself, that will always mean more to me than any mass produced, store bought item. I am genuinely jealous lol.

I am doing an entire Captain Rex Cosplay. But I’ll probably work Helmet down. Since the helmet is the most detail sensitive piece. Once I get the helmet don. Everything else will just fall into place. I am now a subscriber to RamenNoodle Nation! I am a smaller creator at this point too and This felt relatable to me!I’m starting all of this for the very first time and your tutorial really helped me learn what steps and tricks I need to execute to make my own Rex helmet work!

What if you dont have a 3D printer? Can you make a video without the printer?

I’ve never personally bought one, but I have seen multiple raw copy (just the print, not sanded or painted or anything like that) Rex helmets online for around $40-$90, on websites like eBay and Etsy. If you google it you should be able to find them. Just an idea, though

Have a look at ryzers channel- he does some out of pepe cura (not sure if that’s how u spell it) which just starts with paper templates and gets hardened by putting resin/liquid plastic inside

Looks great- if you find that supports are sticking to strong try printing at a slightly lower temperature if u can without causing a blockage in the hot end👍

Here are the things that i like about the v’s on the helmet. Even if you mess it up, you wouldn’t care because your going to make it weathered. Btw im going to use your vid when i make it, i eatched it and i enjoyed it much more then the other vids i watched i subbed

That thing is awesome! Although I'm kinda a lil bummed about how the chin section look. Im super OCD so the uneven parts would kill me.
@williamhall58934 жыл бұрын
I have the same model. It's really good but has mistakes. What's much worse than the chin is the teeth. They aren't even the correct amount.

Uh.. Just watch the video homie. Tells you around 8:25. Basically used filament from the 3d printer n what looks like a soldering iron.

@@completeGamer007 oh oh ok. Ya thats in the part you cant hear. My guess would be a "burnt ochre" paint, n probably a lil light brown. Great question tho! I am curious as well
@r3gret20794 жыл бұрын
@@completeGamer007 aha! So he told me that he used a "burnt umber" acrylic paint. Brushed it on, wiped it off, repeated. Look at his pinned comment for his actual words.

print looked under extruded, which is why it was so weak in areas, the beads didn't bond properly....need to adjust your layer height and wall thickness

Are you crazy, painting on liquid resin which has been known to cause cancer with no skin or even respiration protection, I recommend you go see your doctor ASAP!
@printedpropscreations30173 жыл бұрын
Like most things you need to be very over exposed to it to suffer consequences - one time mixing it without gloves isn’t going to have an effect - definitely worth wearing them tho😂
