Thanks! It's just prepreg hand laminating tool. Available in different shapes and sizes to suit different moulds.

Please, can you tell- me how many degrees you put in the oven and how long?

Initial cure is 70deg then ramps upto 120deg to fully cure. Total time is 8hours

Would you say this can be done using hand layup with dry fibers?

Would be very tricky. You would need to vacuum bag the part at least to hold it all tight in the corners

Cures the carbon at high temperature, which it the carbon fibre simply will not cure.

Ah yes, for this DIY project i just need a pre-made gel-coated form, pre-impregnated carbon fibre, release film, gum-tape, vacuum fittings, heavy scissors, and an industrial oven with a vacuum pump or an autoclave. Have we maybe strayed from "DIY" slightly?
