U could use cereal box, it would work just fine. But if you use chart paper, make sure it has a thickness of 1/2millimetre. I am glad you liked my content 👍

I want to make some of your builds (namely your recon balisong and this karambit), so what thickness cardboard/paper do you use for each? Also, how large are the pieces of paper that you print the template from? I'm going to be printing out the templates on paper, and then gluing them onto cardboard pieces, but I have a ton of different thickness boxes and I don't know which to use.

I would recommend you to use a paper with a thickness of 1/2 millimetre for the karambit and for the butterfly knife normal shoebox cardboard would do just fine. The karambit and butterfly knife is the replica size. Butterfly knife would be around 23cm(when full opened)
