Hi guys I’m a big fan of your channel. Please do a comparison of a sous vide steak and than torch it for crust vs. Reverse sear in cast iron. I think it doesn’t get better than this! Looking forward to the video. You guys are awesome 👍👍keep going. Best Dave

This is a really nice recipe. I have never made chicken lollipops before, but I’ll try sometime. Inviting friends (considered social gathering) isn’t allowed right now because of the CoronaVirus.

its so odd calling something lollipop that isn't at all sweet like candy but boy do these look delicious though!
@BBQandBottles4 жыл бұрын
Depending on the amount of BBQ sauce and the rub you use these can be as sweet as candy.

Don't use a hard steel chef's knife (60 hrc) to cut thru any bone unless you hate the knife. Use a softer steel cleaver (mid 50 hrc).

Io le preferisco con il bacon e il succo d acero, con un rub piccante.

Thanks for the video but I think it would be better to make your own bbq sauce and be in mind that i cant find this "magic rub can" in my place so please write down the ingredients of this. Thank you again.

Nikos, here’s a link to our video on how to make our all purpose rub that would go really well with this cook. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoW7o2mdepKVeqM

@@BBQandBottles Thank you for the reply. Your channel is great and keep going as you are.

Hello, Love your channel. But why don't you make your own BBQ sauce? You go through all the trouble of making the lollipop, then drown it in bottled BBQ sauce. Kosmo's- is loaded with high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, and syrup (which is a combo of high fructose and corn syrup). Homemade, you can just use ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and whatever spices you like. Even the rub- why not make your own? You got me to make my own homemade compound butter for my steak (YUM!!!) and it made a big difference. I think your channel has great potential and you are a great teacher. So.... Keep doing it yourself!! The bottled and jar stuff is too easy. You're great at inspiring us to expect more and to show how easy it is to care about how our food is made. Keep it up!!

Thanks Chriss and that’s a totally fair criticism. We have made our own All Purpose Rub if you want to check out that video here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoW7o2mdepKVeqM It goes great with almost anything. We should do a BBQ sauce video too because you’re right, you can control the quality of the ingredients pretty easily. We’ll add that to the list of videos to come. Thanks again for taking the time to provide a thoughtful comment. 👊👍👌😁

wow. I would cut vertical and slide the skin down like a sweat sock. He cuts way too much protein off the end. I Wrap the sweatsock of skin over the bottom. Mine are more of a tootsiepop than a lollipop.
