I really like using liquid clay to secure earring posts, it's more durable than some methods. I was given a pair of Obsidian earring sculptured by my brother-in-law who does a lot of artwork in various forms and looking at his current works, my earring now have a high value on them like between $200 to $500 for the pair, they are an art collector's item. I have treasured and taken good care of them all these years. When he gave them to me they were clip-ons. After thanking him and knowing their value I gave them back to him saying how much I loved them but I wouldn't wear them as I only wear pierced earrings, so it's best if he gives them to someone who would not only love them but wear them. He wasn't concern about my honest rejection. About a month after his going back home to NZ I received a small item in the post. He had converted my earrings to pierced and included a note saying he had leant a value lesson. He wasn't aware of pierced earrings and now he is. The earrings would about 30 years old now and the only issue has been the posts keep detaching, so frustrating. Watching this made me realise I should be attaching my posts with liquid clay to these earrings. So thanks for your tutorial.

Do the hoops come out of the oven with the bottom side flat, laying on the baking tile?

Hi 👋🏽 why do you put the hoops in the oven with the cutter? Any advice on what to use if you want to bake multiple at the same time but you only have 1 cutter?
