The clutch and throttle combination in a motorcycle involves using both the clutch and throttle simultaneously to control the bike in various situations, such as starting from a stop, shifting gears, and executing precise maneuvers. Here's how it works:
1. Starting from a Stop
-------------------------------
- Pull in the clutch lever with your left hand.
- Keep the throttle closed (no gas) or slightly cracked open to provide a bit of power.
- Engage the gear you want to start in (usually first gear).
- Slowly release the clutch lever while gradually rolling on the throttle.
- As you release the clutch lever and add throttle, you'll feel the bike start to move forward smoothly.
2. Shifting Gears
-------------------------
- When you need to shift to a higher gear (upshifting), roll off the throttle to close it.
- Pull in the clutch lever with your left hand.
- Use your left foot to shift up to the next higher gear.
- Gradually release the clutch lever while rolling on the throttle slightly to match the engine speed with the new gear.
- When downshifting to a lower gear, follow the process of "blipping" the throttle, as explained in the previous response.
3. Precise Maneuvers

4. Emergency Situations

- In emergency situations, pulling in the clutch and closing the throttle can disengage power from the rear wheel and help you coast to a stop if needed.

Bro i have some queries: how to learn bike riding without facing any accidents in initial days like average speed & other most important precautions ? Which place would be best to practice in Parks or roads or any other ? Also how long should we practice daily to master the riding ? How many days will it take for us to safely ride it & go to office for work ?

U r just over thinking, I did the same but then I purchased a second hand Yamaha fazer and I rode it, it was easy just needed practice even though bike looks bulky still I can ride with confidence and ya it's been only 8 days today

Rtr1604v is best in highways, but in city ride i will prefer fzs v4, baki sab kam jada same hay, but rtr ki power formance is better, and fzs v4 engine smoothness is better, i will not prefer fzx, same engine as in v4, does not looks good according to me. So if your preference is city ride mostly go for fzs v4, because rtr4v turning radius is bit bigger, you may face problem to turn the bike in narrow roads, if you are not that expert in riding. But if you if you mostly do long ride and sometime city commute then definitely Apache is the Best

Try to Make grip the throttle with your palm not fingers, You will get habituated with time, and control better way

Hi Sir, aaj week 2 bike practice ka.. last week the progress was good. But suddenly yesterday I was not riding the bike properly. I was not shifting the gear properly, giving more acceleration suddenly, in turns i was not properly taking turn. Not sure why it happened and demotivate me. Basically i practice riding with my brother and leave him to gym everyday in evening which is 5-10min of distance. Please suggest what is the reason for sudden panic and loosing concentration. Suddenly feeling like the progress graph has fallen..

Koi bhi brake use karte time half clutch nehi rakhna hai, but rear brake is more harmful for that, so jab front brake use kar rahe ho, cluth ko half clutch se thoda andar press karo, brake chhoro then clutch chhoro

Yes definitely, but use rear brake first then simultaneously front brake, then downshift

@@deveshsharma4707 bro HighSpeed me clutch dabane se power to cut hoga, lekin speed ki bajai se bike free ho jayega, jisse hum engine braking ka use nehi kar payenge, khud try krna , high speed me clutch dabake, to speed bad jayega, jada kuch ghatega nehi, so first use engine braking, means throttle zero kardo, fir rear and front brake then clutch immediately. Then downshift

Hi Sir, Hope you are well. I regularly watch your videos and thanks for sharing your experience.. It's been a week i started riding Pulsar 150 and started learning how to ride bike. My question is I can ride bike and know the functions of bike but when I start riding bike I get very afraid and because of that sometimes I don't apply proper gear or break. In simple term if I say I and my bike are not one it's still not a part of my body where I can confidently ride it. I practice riding bike with my brother sitting behind since he has experience. He is confident that after 2-3 weeks I can confidently ride the bike but I don't have that much confidence and i think i will still take more time.. i know some people learn riding bike fast and some take time. I was able to ride bike in heavy traffic but didn't tried yet on main roads where signal is there and lot of traffic. Please can you tell me how long it takes to confidently ride bike without fear ?

Definitely it differs from men to men, but ultimately experience is the the key, try to ride in little less traffic highway, and gradually go to crowder ones. And i will suggest you to practice braking skill which can make you confident, use good grip tyre for additional confidence. And while riding do not overthink, maximum other vehicles is riding with their experience too, dont think that anybody can hit you, more fear more you forgot to control the things . Use good safty gear, good quality helmet , hand glovers, even use knee guard. Hope you will soon be a confident rider

Ye basically engine braking ke bjai se hoti hai, jada speed me achanak gear down karne se ye hoti hai, use both brakes , then jab bike slow hoye to downshift karo, and clutch ko very slowly chorna hay, ta ki engine brakeing ka energy slowly distribute ho jaye.

Koi issu nehi hai , chain ko maintain karna padta hai, har 400km me , Clean and achhe chain lube se lube karna padta hai

I think Yes , 2 option for that , adjust rear suspension to softer side, change trye to 140/60 can help to reduce seat hight
