Great video. Easy instruction for first timers. Anyone needing a coffee maker, we bought a Black and Decker 12 cup coffee maker from Target for only $25. Highly recommended.

Being new to coffee is really about trial and error I found out especially since I like flavored coffee. Mixing syrups, flavored coffee and milk is all about experimenting for me. I’m still learning but I did find out for my taste to use coffee paper filter and not the reusable filter. I don’t think I’ll ever stop experimenting.

For anyone wanting to measure out coffee more exactly, you can use a ratio of between 1 : 15 and 1 : 18. There are coffee ratio calculators online to figure out how much coffee to use per the amount of coffee you are using. (PS a cup of coffee is around 5oz. So a 12 cup carafe is not 96 oz. It is 60 oz. Imprtant to know if you measure out the coffee and water.)

I always enjoy your post and although I already knew how to make coffee I feel that this was a very post for those that don’t know how to make coffee 👍🏻 The only thing I don’t enjoy about all of your posts is the unending and MANY posts make about YETI mugs and there other equipment 🥴 I am a dedicated thermos king mug user and have been for years 😃
@JustADad Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching!!! Yeah My other channel has a lot of yet mugs on it for sure. I think I have a bag habit I get into, I like to collect things and it can be anything. Right now it seems to have been Yeti mugs. I need to look into thermos king and see how they compare. Any model of thermos king you recommend?

It would be interesting when you get the thermos king tumbler that you do a heat test with it compared with a YETI. I suggest that you do the test of each right before you seal both then wait 4-6 hours and unseal both and check the temp of both again and compare. I will bet the thermos king tumbler will be the winner by at least 10-15 degrees👍🏻

Hello Sir Love ur Coffe Videos.. I was having a problem with my Mr Coffee Iced or Hot Single Serve coffee maker when I brew an 8 oz cup it is to weak I put 1 and a half scoops but it’s like the grounds are not all being saturated I do a bigger cup and it works fine
@JustADad Жыл бұрын
How long have you had it, It might need descaled if the water is not getting hot enough, your coffee won't taste good. That machine I noticed if you only brew a small amount like 8 oz or less the hot water just does not have time to go around and saturate all the grounds. Not sure what the fix is for that.

Unrelated to this video but I have a Braun multiserve coffee maker that’s starting to go out. Clock doesn’t work and I have to power cycle it every time I want to make some coffee. It makes a damn good cup though. I was wanting to ask you what machine would you recommend for a replacement?
@JustADad Жыл бұрын
The Ninja dual Brew Pro Would be my first choice. it has a separate hot water dispenser like the Braun and it has Drip Stop lever also. The Ninja Hot / cold coffee maker is a nice one also that the drip stop is automatically controlled by the coffee maker

my coffee keeps tasting watery when i do the one tablespoon for each cup what can i do to make it less watery i have a really small coffee pot and worry my basket will overflow
@JustADad Жыл бұрын
This can be tricky, I would try adding a little more coffee to the filter, but you are right it might overflow. Also how hot is your coffee maker getting, It might need descaled. ground coffee needs really hot water to release, Also what blend are you using? Breakfast blend can be really week looking for me. let me know how it goes.

Plastic coffee makers are generally harmful. But since coffee makers now vary vastly in design and structure, and BPA-free plastics are now a thing, there’s a chance they may not be entirely hazardous. That’s also why experts suggest looking for manual coffee makers if you want to prioritize safety.
