Thanks...I have a Moka pot being delivered on Friday, and I'm camping with it on Saturday morning. So I appreciate the quick tutorial.

this was actually really useful for me to see how cooperative a mona pot could be with a cas cooker, thank you

Make it like the Italians do, who invented it. 1. Don't heat up water to put in the pot. 2. Fill filter with coffee all the way, not 3/4's the way. 3. Continue as in this video. Enjoy your espresso.

Great video and thank you for it! Are you still using this 9 cup Moka Pot and would you recommend it over the other sizes? I ordered this one and it's arriving tomorrow so I'm pretty excited to use it 😊

Thank you for the feedback and glad you enjoyed! We do still use it sometimes and I think the size suits us well. It allows to make two cups at once which is handy!

Did you really say that you dont want the burnt water to come through...?
@GearReviews3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the water will get too hot and make the coffee taste bad. I know it was real odd.

Perfect. Maybe lower the heat to a low. But yeah, perfect.

I've done the pre boil and a cold start. In my opinion i cant taste much difference. The pre boil method is a faster brew time but the overall process is longer because of the extra step. You can just pre boil in the water chamber but you need a pot holder or rag to put it together hot

Thanks for sharing you're insight, I think the speed when camping is less important to me if using the moka pot. But the difference is small I agree

no need to do pre-heating of the water! The slower the extraction, the better you get. Just wait with closed lid, then open it and turn the flame off when it starts to come out or a little bit after, depending on the measure of the moka. Greetings from Italy!

Awesome tips! Thanks! Hey from Canada!

No pre heating water and you need to remove the heat when the coffee is all out or you won't get enough cream.

Wet the bottom of a pan and put it on a hot stove and you’ll beg to differ
