I'm thankful to have this, because I want to make a CuSO4 solution to kill a freshly-cut tree stump. (the dry CuSO4 crystals sold to kill tree roots in sewer lines often take too long to dissolve in drain lines, making them less effective). This video should warn that this is a toxic substance, and mixing and pouring should be done carefully. Also, could you say HOW hot the water should be ("very hot"??), especially since this small amount will cool rapidly when it's poured into the glass beaker/cup. That said, I'm thankful to get the suggested ratio of water : CuSO4, and to know that moderate heat won't make a lot of dangerous fumes.

It's easy to consume too WAY TOO MUCH copper!! It must be in balance with zinc. Best to just eat a healhy and varied diet. Sulfates are found in a wide variety of foods, too. Just avoid fads, avoid starvation diets, and go very lightly on junk foods.
