Would be cool if its autopsy check worked in a 5 person radius(or 3 people radius). İf you check 3 and if the killer is not 3 but 1-2 or4- 5 you get a message that says killer is nearby giving you 4 other sus people which would also add more to discussions and fake claiming properly.

Hot take: If the Coroner performs an Autopsy on a player killed by "a member of the Coven" then the Coroner should learn what Coven role killed them in addition to their regular ability. It would be a small buff, but at least it would be SOMETHING, you know?

I would love to see a reworked Medium replace coroner. Something like a night ability to grab logs from someone dead, so you see the logs from the night they died, and also to keep Seance maybe. Makes the role less dependent on people staying in lobby, and means you can have some game impact with TIs.

I think a good rework would be that the Coroner can do its normal thing, but the game randomly selects 3 people who might have been the killer. And then you can narrow it down quickly enough that Coroner would be useful.

I really just want someone to come up with an idea better than mine because then I'd be like "why didn't I think of that" and then just respect the people who actually play the game because I'm terrible and feel like shit if I'm the reason the team loses.

i know this video is about coroner, but i think they could also nerf conjuror, make them only able to nuke during the first day phase (discussion), so that way they can't just wait for vfr, and nuke the first tpow/jailor claim.

@@thegreatestdane8978 The drawback is that the conjurer can only use it once. You even see that drawback in full effect when the conjurer got baited into wasting their meteor. Conj nerfs are unnecessary, especially when the town has plenty of auto-confirm roles.

Allow them to check a dead body, pick 2 people, and find if 1 of them killed, but dont tell you which one of the 2. Doesnt allow you to confirm people very quickly, would be able to be affected by illu/ench, and would actually be useful

Maybe Coroner should be able to tell what exact role killed the victim (since Coven kills don't reveal this), and perhaps also reveal to the coroner whether the victim was doused, plagued, etc. and what happened to them at that night (rbd or other conditions). I mean the role is literally making an autopsy on the deceased but the only conclusion he can achieve is who killed him? my guy needs to get those studies going.

Ok. I've played Tos 1, but not 2. What happens if Conjurer kills Coroner? I thought the reverse Uno card plays and Conjurer dies instead.

Conjurer only gets one of those Nukes, so using them on a confirmed TPow (Pros, Mayor, Jailor, Monarch) or other important townie is important. Coroner is The Worst^tm role in the game so wasting the nuke on that is good for town

Coroner would benefit greatly from a "corpse of a townie" at the start of the game that reveals 1 random killing role when autopsied. Be it Evils or Town, it gives them some pretty useful info. Said dead townie (0 would be their number I guess) would even be used by like Necro / Ret n1 too so not bad at all.

Coroner is just worse Investigator, you need to autopsy a dead person to record their killer (in this version, you were told Neutral/Town killers but would just be told that A member of the coven killed your target not a role). Then, you need to select a player at night to see if they match your autopsied killer. A.K.A., you will find zero information in 99% of games unless you're a god at scumreading, and even then, you'll likely miss people due to them not being the current Book Holder.
