How to Make Custom Control Arms - Adjustable! - No Welding - DIY

How to make your own custom adjustable control arms with no welding. I do it for my 2006 R53 Mini Cooper S project car but it will work for any car or truck. DIY. Custom suspension should be fun.

Thanks for watching everyone! If you wanted to get really DIY you could drill into the end of the some hex bars and tap them yourself but that seems a little too hardcore when the bars are not that expensive.

Silly question but why didn't you buy metric heim joints of the correct diameter?

Good question. I couldn’t find the right combination of threaded bar and metric heim joints with the specs I wanted, that ship to Canada, for a reasonable price.

The AK047? I saw them at ECS for $153 a pair. With shipping (for 4) that is $378 plus tax and duty etc to Canada. Shipping prices to Canada are like we are on another planet sometimes.
