I was so excited when this video popped up in my feed!! My big buddy just suddenly passed away last week. It's been so quiet & lonely without him. He greatly helped me survive several surgeries as well as a myriad of emotional maladies. However, my excitement quickly melted away once they showed how much the look-alike would cost. Emmalia D. - Lmao, I paid $300 for my doll of my cat after he passed away. It is a lot, but believe me, it's so worth it. I was having a very difficult time getting over the loss because I've had him for almost 12 years since he was 6 weeks old, and I was 9. But the doll helped me to grieve in a positive way, and now I am at peace with the situation. It's a good memorial. Some dolls are cheaper, depending on what you're getting, but I believe the standard cat / small dog doll is $400 now (but CC has sales and gives coupons every now and then).

They airbrush their markings and it makes it easier to get more precise with the markings! It's much easier then sewing all the markings in but it fades after a while....

I used to have a dog named Elmo. He was a tanish colored boxer and he loved to play, wrestle, and he also just loved cuddling. He would lay by me every night when I was a toddler/young kid until I went to sleep. He protected me, my dad, and everyone else. But sadly, about 1-2 years ago, he started to have seizures. He would run into things and shake on the ground while white foam would come out of his mouth. He would forget who he is, where he was, and who my dad was. My dad and mom had him first when they were dating, but he was especially close to my dad. He had to get put down and that night we all loved on him as much as we could. He will forever be in my heart. (I know this is cringy and stupid sounding but I just wanted to share.)

As a seamstress and crafter myself, the price is totally justifiable the hours of craftsmanship involved must be immense. Often time I barely get 2 or 3 dollars an hour after selling an item I've made at a 'reasonable' price. You get what you pay for when you choose to buy a custom handcrafted item from a reputable seller, its usually worth the investment.
