The symbol on the shield is the Lys flower, wich was one of the french royalty symbols, usualy it was sew on royal fabrics with gold thread on royal blue. you can found it on a lot of renaissance's painting of french kings and queens =)

Yeah you see it a lot in Paris because I think it is originally French cuz it’s known as the fleur de lys and yeah pretty much you’re right and it does symbolize that stuff. I’ve always loved it, I think it’s such a pretty symbol

It's the fleur de Lys, meaning the Lys flower in English. It's the symbol of royalty in France and can be found all over castles, like the Chateau de Versailles, the Chateau de Fontaineblau, etc. It would usually be in the colors blue and gold, some of the colors of royalty.

Dry painting is easy you get some paint on your paintbrush then you get the majority of the paint off on a piece of paper then with the remaining paint you brush it on what you want to brush it on, I hope this help :-)
