Hi - I'm wondering, how can you make a necklace with a few charms on it (the type with rings on either side you have to attach?) Would you have to trim the chain down each time?

If I am understanding correctly, yes you would have to trim the chain every time. The alternative it to use open jump rings to "link" everything together.
