Lol the sticks in the leaves. I love bitter leave soup..so delicious n yours looks so yummy I can even taste the deliciousness through the screen..I m a nigerian leaving in the states, I usually get a couple of pack from the Nigerian store that is here owned by an Igbo woman..its always full of sticks and I hate it..I will take me an hr to remove the sticks from the leaves n by the time I'm done I will only hv a handful left . It looks so yummy I'm heading to store right now 4 this soup my sister..God bless o

How did you extract the oil pls

I made sure that the palm kernel(akwu) was well cooked then I pounded the palm kernel until its flesh came out of the nut then I poured water after giving it a good mix,I now use sieve to extract it out. If this explanation isn't clear enough...I will do.a video showing how it can be done please 🙏
