Hey everyone! Welcome to my channel kraftaria.
When I started dot painting years ago, I used to do only dots but now a days after experimenting and with lots of experience I like to use all kinds of shapes in my artwork.
. Dot artists around the world are using these shapes and these shapes look really beautiful and give a great dimension to the artwork. I guess we can call it modern day dot painting. Today I am going to show you how to paint different shapes in dot mandala painting. They are called swooshes, swipes, petals or many other things.
You all can get this as a giveaway from my channel.
I have made all these shapes on a-black card stock in a grid. You can download this chart and use it for your reference.

2:02 what are you using to blog it like that to drag it? Please! And thank you. Another thing @Kraftaria by Sarika: How long have you been practicing at this! I find it difficult Yet enjoying. Although it never comes out like yours! Your amazing by the way.. I feel two years for me isn’t enough and I practice often…😢idk what I’m doing wrong. I find it easier when I do my painting without anything crazy lines or measurements BUT only with dots like you mentioned in the beginning of this video. It’s difficult. Any tips or a suggestion? practice is the most important thing. i am doing this work since last 7 years. i use a clay wooden tool to drag the dots. link is given in the description
