Hello, Marie. I just made the 2 ingredient oil to milk face wash. I used poly 80 as the solubilizer. The oils used are virgin coconut oil and castor oil. Soooo happy with the result! My first ever skincare product! I made 55 grams of this and it's on trial now, with me,of course. So easy to apply and rinse off! After rinsing, my skin feels a little taut(similar to using eggwhite on your face) and my skin feels soft and smooth once dried. Thank you,Marie for sharing your wisdom !

All of the colloidal oat products you’ve made make me happy I love colloidal oatmeal and my skin just loves it. I have eczema and really dry skin and many things irritate my skin but it’s so hard to find high percentage oat products or products with oat flower, extract, oat oil and so on so making things myself seems the best way.

powdered oatmeals very soft to the skin. i started to add Colloidal Oatmeals in all of my creams, cleansers & toners but only at lower percentage (around +-2%). but... by looking at the formula given, actually can go more than 2% 😅.. well, will add it more later (need to clear it b4 expired date) & going to try add it in lips balm too (hopefully)..

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I can't wait to try it out. What if I wanted to add a touch of fragrance to it. Would you suggest adding a drop or 2 of E.O. to the carrier oil first and then add?

I was wondering if I want to incorporate cocomidopropyl betaine in this for additinal surfactant mildness & to replace sweet almond oil to keep the powders together, do you think it will work? Thanks for sharing this simple formula. I will try making this.

I have a giant page of places to shop all over the world, which you can find here: www.humblebeeandme.com/resources/. It doesn't have every country in the world, but it does contain all the online stores I know about. If your country isn't listed, that's because I don't know about any online stores in your country. You could try looking for a local Facebook group for people who like making soap & other cosmetics-they may be able to recommend places to shop. And for some more discussion on ingredients, I recommend these FAQs: www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/why-dont-you-only-use-ingredients-that-are-easily-available-globally/ www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/what-ingredients-should-i-purchase-when-getting-started/ www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/is-there-one-place-i-can-buy-everything/ www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/why-do-you-use-so-many-new-fancy-hard-to-get-ingredients/ Happy making!
