I didn't see a comment on the LED wires you were using, so I wanted to add something. The way the video shows you cutting the LED ribbon may be why the connectors you used were not working. Those are designed to be used when you cut the ribbon on the line that goes through the center of the contact points. By cutting behind the contact points, the ribbon was not lining up properly and was probably causing the contact points to short or lose contact within the plastic housing. Otherwise, this is a great video and I love how you attached the LED's behind the wheels. Awesome job.

Hey love the video and have to tell you, I've used those connections you said fail. They actually don't. You need to slide the strip under the contact points then lock the plastic tab down

I soldered all of them together at the controller and the controller gets power and ground.

My original rings are the aluminum rings and I wouldve made aluminum rings for that video but I couldnt find aluminum stock at the time. I have to make some for some carts soon and will be using aluminum again. Buckets are cheap and easy to find.

I have a club cart precedent 2013. I was going to take it in to to upgrade the speed to speed code 5. If I do so, it will increase speed by how much? Also later down the line I do want to upgrade to the plum quick. My question is should I leave it at speed controller 4 and upgrade to the plum quick. Or add the speed controller 5 and plum quick. Hope it make sense. Thanks!

When I worked in the field, I installed a security system for Plumquick. There business is in my county. Not too far from me. Man you got that think souped up. Man that is a nice install. Very clean looking. You always come up with some great stuff. it is a bummer those little wire clips didn't work out. That would have saved you a lot of work I imagine. My daughter wants to put some around the top of her wall in her room. You need to help me figure out a way to do that easy lol. I guess I could mount a battery supply some where but trying to figure a way how to mount them sort of putting some molding up. Which that would be the best and coolest way I guess.

That must be the going thing because my daughter begged me to do that and i finally caved in. The kits come with a 110 to 12v power adapter (wall wart). So doing something in a bedroom like that is super easy, however i dont like the way it looks. But for my daughter i compromised. I tried to get her to lets do crown up top so we could hide the lights but ofcourse that wouldnt work. Its leds, its just paint and if it messes up the walls i will fix them. They are only young once!

@@Oven74 I just checked the link and it said 12v in the description. There is a 110v wall plug incase you want to use them indoors. That plug steps it down from ac 110 to dc 12v. It will work just fine.

You will need to guesstimate the length. I measured the diameter of the plastic circle, then subtracted the axle diameter, then added around 3 inches to make the bends for the clamps (axle) and the rivets (plastic ring).
