Omg thanks for making this video. This was so helpful. I'm going to try this technique once my new crochet hook comes in. Tryin the same size you used here. 2 Months in to My Dreads. Starting out with hair down to my butt. Mine were done exactly this method. I've watched so many videos researching. This is by far the most straightforward and filmed well. Glad I came across it. I am loving my hair but my loose hair is SO LONG! Trying to remain patient. For being so young, my dreads are firm and thick especially at the ends. I was left with 10+ inch wispy ends that have slowly started drawing up. Trusting the Process. Thank You for Sharing.
@rainbowlotus83202 жыл бұрын
i can only recommend to not tie your hair up in a bun often, as it will break those wispy soft tips over time.

I was wondering if it is possible to use (partial) dreadlocks to make the hair look fuller? I have very fine hair which makes my length look thin, no matter how healthy it is. I was thinking that I could maybe use hair extensions to make bigger dreadlocks, but I'm a little worried how this would look when the dreads grow out. I propably would end up with thick length and thin roots...? Do you have any recommondations how to get as much volume as possible with pairtal dreads?

Hey, sometimes my crochet hook gets "caught" in a loop of hair that I'm bringing down and the hair in the hook won't crochet anymore because it's caught. Do I just let go of that hair and start new right under it? It leaves a tiny little loop sticking out. Not sure if I'm explaining correctly..

The best way is to do nothing to your hair. Don't comb it, don't twist it. Use a sponge and cold water and let your dreads form naturally the way they want to form. That way they are unique to u. No offense to any other ways tis is just the most natural and authentic way of locs. Especially if u are looking for that spiritual journey with them
