I used ribbon and wrapped around the cross. Added a bow and a little greenery and it was beautiful to me. I too made it for my son’s grave. I used a taupe ribbon so it would look not to frilly. Good luck

Love the idea of the cross and the tulips. I think if I make it I'll choose to make the bow and tails smaller so as not to obscure the structure of the cross, and maybe use more pastel colors. Same with the lilies. They were so large w/ all the additional greenery that it hid the shape. But that's just me, and how I would change it. Nice work though and enjoyed seeing it.
