Thanks so much sweetie - I'm glad I have inspired you enough to try my cakes ; ) I learn a lot on line as I'm mostly seft taught. I did do a few of beginners cake decorating classes which taught me heaps in regards to working with fondant. I use a green cutting mat to roll my fondant out on and I also use plastic flat chopping mats that you get from cooking section in grogery stores. I use the surface of my benchtop or table too. Yes it can be hard to find space to do this craft ; )

Thanks so much for replying back. I'm really nervous to use fondant on cupcakes, because a lot of people don't really like fondant on cakes. I think I'll try this, I think it looks amazing. You're truly talented and thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. I guess it's more of a presentation thing for me. I'll let you know how mine turn out! You're awesome!!!!

Thanks for supporting & watching. The pallet knife I used to cut for inserting the ear is a craft tool from a bargin shop - in a set of a few (cant remember how many and what brand it was). Try the arts & craft section in your local bargin shops. I'm try to come up with a video explaining some of the tools I use soon so that anyone can start this hobby of cake decorating in fondant.

It was the youtube account name my husband created for us to initially share videos of our first daughter with our friends in France. A combination of the start of our names at the time - Mackayla, Andrea and Norman- which became Mack-And-Norm - hence 'mackandnorm' : )

Well I make mostly for kids so they all eat the fondant icing first and usually it's the cake part that they dont finish. I like the cake and the swiss meringue buttercream best and dont usually eat much of the fondant as it is like eating soft lollies as it's really sweet - that why kids love it so much. A lot of adults I know like the fondant but in moderation.

First of all, all your cakes and cupcakes are complete works of arts- just amazing you are such an inspiration to me! I have two questions: Where did you learn all your techniques? Also, what surface/mat do you use, specially for fondant work.I can never find a good place to work with fondant and when I do it on the bare glass table, my mom doesn't get so happy. XD Thank you!! :)

Do people actually eat the fondant bunny or do they remove it and eat the rest. I'm wondering about the taste exactly! I hope you don't mind my question. Thank you.

edible glue i don't think it's easy to find in the stores all around the world but for sure it's a thick syrup..as we know syrup it's sticky so yeah...as an idea :P
@agdollalanie3112 жыл бұрын
how do you eat it with glue
@Niamhwalsh200012 жыл бұрын
They look great, but no offense but they would taste horrible because of the amount of fondant and also the thickness of the fondant wouldn't help, not to be mean though
