First time watching you. I’ve watched several similar videos. You did the best job covering both pattern tips AND using Stretch Magic. I just made one using the size 7. But even though I used tiles on the end , my knots are still too big for them. Right away, I heard you say to use size 5 to prevent that. Should have watched you first! I Subscribed.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I've been beading for a few years, and have naturally gravitated to the cube and tila beads. Your tutorial is very informative, and offers the guidance I so desperately need. I think I will make it a point to practice first, before I become better at it. Thank you!

Enjoyed your video, it was very comprehensive. I would be happier if you had explained a bit more re: sizing. I want to make a friend who is celebrating her 90th birthday a bracelet. I don't have her wrist size so I thought a stretch bracelet would be a solution.Unfortunately it isn't. Is there another way to make this a fit?

Interesting video... ...I am not sure, if you mentioned that Tila-Beads have an up- and a down-side: you can see it in the close-up at ~ 5:00 - it's quite important to the design.

@evedillingham6847 Жыл бұрын
100% agree. Knot was too large to be pulled into the Tila holes. 😢 I ended up crimping a crimp bead cover over each knot to hide them. Looks much better than Stretch Magic knots!

Hello Abbi! I love your tutorial on how to make tila bead bracelets! Thank you so much for doing such a clear video. I teach beading classes at the library where I work and we will be making these in September. Is it ok if I use your tutorial to get them started? Also a quick question: do you stretch your .5mm cord first? Thanks so much! Kate

To answer your question, I do pre-stretch it but only slightly. I usually make sure it’s tied while stretched a bit if I feel it has relaxed at all while stringing.

Hi Abbi, I found this a helpful video with nice camera angle and focus regarding beading. I have a couple of questions. I noticed that you didn't pre-stretch or pre-condition your stretch magic before using it, do you find that your finished bracelet sag after a while of use? Secondly, do the tila beads have a "right" and "wrong" side when stringing, and if so, how do you tell? Thanks in advance 😊 I just subscribed
