What kind of roller glue tape did u use to stick down the envelope flaps? I couldn’t tell in the video, snd didn’t see it in your supply list. Would the double sided paper backed tape that u use on the card stock work for the envelopes too? Thx in advance!

Hello. Unfortunately I dint know about your machine. I am unable to answer your question. You would have to have a 5x7 hoop or larger for the cards I make.

Hi Kim, thank you for your informative video. I love your envelope maker, it is so simple and easy to use. When you embroider your card, do you use the normal 40 wt embroidery thread and what size needle do you use? Many thanks.
@expressivecardsngiftsbykim3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jen! I use a 75/11 needle and normal 40wt thread.

How much do you sell cards for haven’t seen out there thank you like your video better than the rest
@expressivecardsngiftsbykim Жыл бұрын
I sell my cards between $12.50-$15.00. $15 being for custom cards. You can’t go by what others sell for. Everyone’s geographical areas are different.

Placement stitch on the stabilizer

Hi Kim, thank you so much for doing this for us. I notice in this video that you reference 140 pound watercolour paper. I ordered the paper in your guide on the website however the paper came in and it says 90 pounds on it. Will that still work? Or should I order 140 pound?
@expressivecardsngiftsbykim3 жыл бұрын
If you are new to learn you can try on that I just prefer the heavier weight personally.

Why do you use 3 layers of paper? It seems that the black matte paper isn't necessary. It seems that it would be so heavy with all three layers. Just curious as to your reasoning.
@expressivecardsngiftsbykim2 жыл бұрын
This is how I make them. I like them this way. It doesn’t make the card heavy at all. There is no rule on the necessity of what needs to be used. Everyone makes their creations differently. If the black matte doesn’t work for you, don’t use it.

I didn’t hoop it. I show in the video how I attached it to the stabilizer to be able to embroider on. There is nothing else to show.
