So this tutorial to make a melody is just to hum the melody on top of generic progression chords and translate it to midi.. This is the proof that there is no such thing as a "how to make a melody", it comes with practice. The best tip is to listen to music really carefully and to ask yourself why this works, or why you feel certain emotions
