I'm glad KZbin popped this up on my recommendations. It's an excellent video (and track), and it reminded me of a me of a technique I heard Portishead used to use back in the day... Apparently, they started off by sampling old French and Italian spy movies, but moved on to making their own and pressed them to vinyl to resample again for extra grittiness and feel.
