Thanks for the video. I loved it. Please could you speak in the tax rate in your province and how their banking system works over there. Do they charge monthly for card maintenance?, Do they tax your savings?, How do you save in Naira

First of all, save in Naira? No o. As a student, your cards aren’t charged for maintenance but I guess they do once your student status ends. You may want to ask the bank to know if there is a way to avoid that maintenance charge. Tax rate is 11%. 5% for GST (Goods Service Tax) and 6% for PST (Provincial Tax) I don’t get taxed for my savings instead I get some cents as interest monthly.

Security guard is TEER 4 occupation. TEER 4 does not qualify for Express Entry. Check PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) of provinces; each province is different.

Security job is for part time work here not an avenue (pathway) to come into the country.

Hi Yemisi Welldone. You didn't mention if those online freelance Jobs counts towards Canada's 20hrs restrictions. Was expecting to hear that. Does it? Or it's only inperson outside Jobs that counts?

It’s a grey area. If you want to use that as a work experience when you’re applying for PR, you must get your offer letter and payslips and it will show the number of hours you worked. Also, you don’t want any issue with IRCC for any reason. I’m this video, I was referring to them as a summer job where you don’t have restriction to work hours.

There is usually spring classes but for some schools, it’s not a compulsory class and they recognize that period as a scheduled break. If your school doesn’t recognize it as a scheduled break, then you can only work for the IRCC permitted number of hours.
