I recently started using fallsouls myself. I just disabled it for the pause menu (have to be able to get up from the PC every now and then) as well as the trade window (follower tends to walk away in the middle of trading otherwise). For everything else it adds a lil extra notch of strategy and to really use those favorites/quickslots for what matters most.

Constantly running into enemies isn’t immersive. You’d be lucky (or unlucky) to see a bear or a moose while hiking. Soldiers in real life go for weeks maybe even months without encountering enemies. If you really want to make it immersive I recommend actually toning down encounters, but make each encounter as intense and realistic as it would be in real life. Can you imagine not running into a death claw for weeks then suddenly seeing one, knowing full well that it WILL kill you in one hit if this was real life, REGARDLESS of what armor you have on (barring power armor.) This of course applies to other things that will kill you in one hit if this was real life, BUT it will be balanced seeing as a shoutgun round to the face will also equally fuck up whatever you’re shooting. So take it as you will, that’s just my opinion and how I play this game. And I’m not even gonna talk about realistic stealth lmao good luck if you have that on

For me... Better locational damage plus npc travel with super mutants, death claw, behemoth, synth and brotherhood patrol turned on seasoned with darker night are extremely *immersive* and really boost up the difficulties as the everyone can basically one hit you literally.

I use War of the Commonwealth and Endless Warfare together. Best decision ever. Endless Warfare allows enemy liberty primes to spawn, enclave spawns, and enclave vertibirds that do combat with BoS vertibirds and you see explosions everywhere you go.

Brilliant mod list, I like the idea of the non pause mod for opening your Pip Boy. It would give a tactical inventory management system, aka... hide to check your inventory, make sure its safe to pick locks and hack computers. As long as the Pip Boy bullet time is still on. I like the idea of No Combat Boundaries, and No Place Is Safe... making hiding in buildings not a safe bet. Although, I tend to get chased out of building in the Vanilla game. I love finding new mod list ideas, stuff that makes sense and is still fun. With strictly no Bullet Sponging, which I hate. As it just wastes bullets, something I've been meaning to mod out of Automatron. As its a mod I love and hate, as the robots take way too many bullets to kill. Each enemy being a T800 level of armoured killing machine, killing all the travelling merchants, and taking an ammo factories worth of bullets to kill. I went on my quest to make Fallout 4 really tough, not as tough as your version, but really tough, with no bullet sponging. With a mod list, as long as 2 arms. With my game save start, Where am I. I got sick of becoming a God, when I reached level 40, being virtually indestructible. Not with this, you will always be sick, poor and hungry. As water farms are not a viable thing, nor are Melon farms. Want to steal some poor farmers crops, not any more. Expecting for your settlers to hand over their food and water, nope... You will be living day to day, having to go hunting each day to feed yourself. Not good for a first play-through, but without blowing my own trumpet too much, I love it. Plus, you don't start off in the Vault, or wearing a Vault Suit. With a Questionable start location, outfit, and start story. I didn't add any quests, as I am not smart enough for that. My P.C. wont fully run the Creation Kit, the 3d window crashing my Creation Kit, if I so much as look at it. I only play my Fallout 4 with my mod, and massive mod-list now... With my personal version, additional mods added to my Nexus version. I added tons of adult mod, keeping the game 100% crash free as well... Which took a lot of hours to balance correctly. As for the fine line between fun and challenge, I got that sorted as well.
