you don't need premuim to make clothing, it just costs 10 rbx to uploading one clothing piece (shirt or pants), and if u don't wanna do that, you can just make outfits and sell their templates directly to a person who wants that outfit on their group. they can pay you through your gamepass (which is free to make!)

Modeling pays pretty well if your good at it. for example, the past week I’ve been commissioned to roughly 36k robux (after taxes) and I’ve only done around 1 day worth of time doing it. Although, to get paid well you have to market your self really really good. Hope this helps someone!

i did art commisions for a while and many people bought them but dont make the same mistake i did because i made the prices INSANELY cheap and i was too generous. a drawing was like 2-5 robux, shaded drawing was only 15-20. I raised the prices to 25 once and only one person bought them. I also gave one away for free (it was animal jam currency tho). I also did animation and many people wanted to buy it but never did (i mean it was 150-200)

if ur not using twitter, then u should use it bc tiktok and discord people like to lowball prices. increase ur price and use tags on twitter. if that doesn’t work, then start making art moots and join art contests to get urself out there!

rbx will steal 30% from u. The only way that roblox doesnt steal rbx from you is using group funds. however, u cant force the client to pay with group funds. its their choice to pay with it or not.

I’m a bit confused about the “Group Funds” part? That’s the option I plan on using (cause I don’t want to have that 30% tax from Roblox lol) but how do you set it up exactly? Do you add gamepass we to it or something like that? That’s the one thing thing that got me a bit lost 😅

they have to have a group, you join the group, so they can pay you through the group (in roblox)

well, i’d say don’t just choose that as your only pay method. this is because not everyone commissioning you has a group and has robux in that group. you can’t rlly set it up. in your comm sheet/website, list out your pay methods. if the customer chooses to pay with their group funds, ask them to send the link to their group. YOU NEED TO JOIN THAT GROUP AND WAIT TWO WEEKS before they can send the robux to you (since you are new to the group). because you have to wait 2 weeks, i recommend not starting the commission before you are paid as you will risk getting scammed. HENCE, you should use either a tshirt/gamepass AND group funds. i also wanna mention that if your customer choose to pay thru their group, make sure to adjust the price correctly since they don’t need to pay the 30% tax. example: gamepass prices are 100, you get 70 because of the tax. therefore, group fund prices should be 70 since no tax will be accounted for. HELP THAT WAS A LOT BUT I HOPE IT HELPS ❤❤❤❤

SO HAPPY IT HELPED!!! for the fade, click any items that u want animation for (text, images, containers, etc) and look at the top of the control section. click on the play button tab. that will lead u to the animation page!! u can find fade in the drop down and many other settings :D

sure!! group funds is a payment option for your clients. unlike tshirts and gamepasses, you cant tell a client to pay using group funds. it is the clients choice to choose what payment method they want. usually(always) they will only pay thru group funds if they have a group and have robux in the group. also if u are being paid thru group funds, u have to wait 2 weeks after joining the group before receiving payment. however, there will be no roblox tax added onto the payment. so MAKE SURE to lower the price that has tax by 30%. (example: ur og price for tshirt/gamepasses is 100 rbx. ur group funds price will be 70 rbx instead.)

it’s up to you if u wanna do that. u can always make sure they paid you by going on the transactions page. you can also see how much robux is pending on that page. and it takes a few days to a week for the rbx to transfer!
