Thank you Ruth. I love it when I can use normal materials.

I use plain old caulk from the hardware store to make my flexible molds. You get SO much more of it for SO much less using caulk (especially compared to pricey Pentart brand modeling paste). 😉

In the USA those molds can be purchased through Amazon or in any store that has a department for baking essentials. Hope this helps.

Beautiful lace. How long does it take to dry before you can unfold it.

It dries for several hours

After they’re created how long can you store them for projects?
@Jennifer.335 Жыл бұрын
I use plain caulk from the hardware store and mine last forever. I make and store several dozens of them at a time and store them for future use in my projects. They will last forever. 🙂

@@Jennifer.335 Thank you for the idea. I will try it. How do you store them?
@Jennifer.3352 ай бұрын
@@malgozata1875 I bought about two dozen baking sheets from the dollar store. I spread them on the sheets with wax paper between each layer. Then just stack the baking sheets together. Also, be sure to buy "latex acrylic" caulk if you are using silicone molds. Hope this helps! 🙂

@@Jennifer.335 Hello Jennifer, since you have been so helpful, I have another question. I understand that when you spread the caulk, it leaves a hazy film behind. This needs to be cleaned off before peeling the lace. After you spread the caulk, how long do you wait before cleaning off the hazy film? Thank you.
