My favorite database is called "Legends of the Beautiful Game" This database adds every Hall of Fame caliber player to the club they started with. Pele is at Santos, and Beckenbauer is at Bayern Munich for example.

@@sgy77777 Mostly where they started their career. Ronaldo Portugal is an exception. Maradona is in Argentina. Ronaldo Brazil is in the Netherlands. Haaland is in Norway. Mbappe is at AC Monaco.

11:02 If you’re curious. At the first time when FIFA Nations League is contested, those 7 worst teams are Brunei, Anguilla, American Samoa, Tonga, Northern Mariana, Kiribati and Micronesia. And San Marino is in 6th division and usually actually wins there a lot.

I made a database way back for FM 2010 where I combined all of the British & Irish teams. I sorted all teams out into a new division system and adjusted the TV/sponsor revenue accordingly. I remember it being so enjoyable to play and some of the lower rep clubs actually started to climb the divisions due to the increased finances. It was so competitive!

Am trying this. It’s not down to ability, it’s down to status of the squad. I.e. a player who has ‘important player’ will have more of a tantrum than someone who is a ‘squad player’.

@@ethanprince356 Exactly, 200 players will naturally want higher status and will cry if not granted. Hence the playing time. He will cry either for playing time or u don't grant him high enough status. In both scenarios it`s disaster moral.

I've been playing 2004/05, 07/08 and 13/14 with some friends. Great to look down memory lane to our favourite players growing up. Especially as a Hull fan using our playoff winning team with local lads Barmby and Windass or the FA Cup final team. Memories 😢

2:40 For the last 3 years I am playing similar database I created, where every player in the world up to age 26 who had at least 120PA now has 160-190 PA. That is about 12.000 players with -10 potential. How this makes game more challenging - now almost every team has one world class player. Big teams finally are playing young players. And after 5 seasons it becomes very hard. In one of my saves Flamengo and Valencia were so strong I could not beat them. Not to mention other clubs And all that with real players, no regens. The thing with default database is that over the years, it becomes more easy. This way it becomes harder. What is also good, you can buy a player who has insane attributes but he still plays bad because of hidden attributes and you could spend 100.000.000 on him. That hit and miss thing is great. This is the only reason why I still play FM 2021, I can't get bored of this, every single save another team turns into powerhouse and another player is the best player in the world because some players have random hidden attributes, compared to default database where you learn which players are wonderkids and you know at the start who will be the best always.

I actually made the Non-League Manchester City one as one of my first saves for FM24 but changed some more things in the database to make it even harder like reducing the club's reputation. It was very enjoyable and I was actually able to win the UCL with them in under 10 seasons. Haven't had as much fun ever since though

Here's what I've been doing for the last few months to make each save more unique and interesting: 1. Changing the CA and PA of players from other clubs, based on their performance. For example, some random Hamburg striker bagged 35 goals in a single Bundesliga season in my save, his average rating was 7.8 for the season. His CA was 121, and his PA the same. I increased his CA to 158 and gave him 170 PA, he ended up being a star at Bayern. A good example for real life, would be Guirassy who suddenly exploded at 28 yrs old. In my opinion, it also makes it more realistic, because a 120 CA player isn't going to bag so many goals in real life, and not make even the slightest progress, because of an imposed PA limiation. The reverse applies for players who play terribly (less than 6.65 rating average per season), a highly rated player above 150 CA might decline, (just like it happens in real life), and fall below 130 in his mid 20's for example. 2. Adjusting reputation and sponsorship deals manually based on team performance. Combined with the first point, it can make unlikely teams rise to the top, or giants fall after having multiple terrible seasons in a row. This, for example, resulted in Manchester United getting relegated in one of my saves, after 10 years of terrible transfers and constant finishes outside the top 10, which naturally should be linked with them getting significantly worse sponsorship deals.

As I always start new FM experience from tweaking my hometown club in the pre-game editor a bit (nothing game breaking, just adding few more coaches, U-19s or so), I know how MASSIVE task is to recreate 15 playable nations from 25 years ago... :O I can't imagine how much time it must taken the author to create something like that :O

I’m someone who struggles to play for many seasons or with small clubs/budgets so what I’ve done was just play with the retro regens mods from MrTini and start a save with a small or medium sized club or even a big club with financial struggles and try to pick up a bunch of young legends to rebuild the team. It made it much more fun to rebuild and also a little bit more difficult as other teams can also pick up these legends. I first started with my favorite being the 98/99, but then I just added ALL the support staff files of the regens and now it’s just chaos, but made it more fun for myself. An example of the first regens to come through would be a young Totti, de Rossi and Lewandowski (plus others).

I am currently playing with the concacaf club competitions CEUD mods with every country set to 200 youth rating and max soccer importance and development. Its basically crazy world with a semi english style USA pyramid but with odd american quirks. I have really been enjoying it working my way up from 6th tier with a team from near where I live in new york

Going off your last vid of FM save ideas to keep the game fresh and combining with this idea of downloading dB, I recommend the empty dB that can be used to construct retro databases...99% of players deleted, newgens everywhere, it's nuts

Another thing should be improving the scouting, like more detailed things hwne searching for players. Like in mobile , you can choose the preferred foot for the player you're looking for, which is really helpful especially when checking for new center backs or asking the general manager for a suggestion

In FM22, I made a bunch of editor files to have a very different FM experience. One where all people were gone, one where all teams in the same tier (regardless of nation) had the same awful finances, facilities and reputation, and another where every nation had the same awful youth setups. I've tried porting them to FM24 (the editor files are compatible), but the one where everyone is gone is difficult because the editor slows down to a crawl with over 600k changes...

I'm not much of a database person in FM. I don't manipulate the game levers well enough to dominate my way to success to end saves quickly. One of the more memorable databases I did download, though I only ended up simulating a season or two, was during the "Super" League drama where I downloaded a database that removed all of those clubs and players to simulate what would have happened if the clubs were banned from their domestic leagues and the players on those clubs were banned from international duty. When the league fell apart my interest in playing with the database further went with it because it wasn't really relevant anymore.

You can also play with the editor yourself, it is not that hard. I personally made for myself a database where B Teams in France can reach Ligue 2 (I wanted to have a trophy monopoly on my long term save, and I wanted to see how weird things would get)

Sad news: The database where every nation has a 200 youth rating does virtually nothing. Big countries are big due to their infrastructure, youth rating only plays a tiny role. And with every nation at 200, the big ones will stay big. It would only make a dent a few centuries into the save at which point youth ratings of unsuccessful nations (i.e. the ones without infrastructure) will drop again.

The created player stats on these legend databases are never accurate to the player though, so the in game editor is a must, this is normally because when creating the player for the database the person doing so just puts a number (or range) for the current ability and the game generates the player stats.

One thing what i miss in every game what includes people and aging is that the players could grow taller. You get your 15 year old wonder kid who is 156cm tall, and he is for his whole life, when peoples actually could still grow at age of 20.

I’m doing the 200 PA wonderkid team one but I did it with people I’ve played with in real life and made them all a bit like I know them on and off the pitch. I made them as young as possible and gave them stats based on what i saw them do in real life. They are on the high end but i replaced Luton in the prem with this made up club and now I only have 30 people I know as wonderkids.
