Coins Bar in Shibuya was a lot of fun! I met a few Japanese friends in Shibuya after they overheard me struggling speaking Japanese with a shop owner. Went out for ramen and Asahi's immediately after. Super fun times!

I talked to two girls at Hub Bar in Ikebukuro, it was all fine until I went to the restroom because when I got back they were gone. That's all you need to know about making friends in Japan. And no, it's not the only bad experience, I have countless of them and I speak Japanese on a decent level.

Binge watching your videos for background noise before I go on vacation to Japan. Anyways I'd like to see historical travel videos. Like this is what happened here in in 794 that changed the course of Japanese history preferably from pre-meiji ancient times. I don't expect you to be a historian and get everything right or even be a tour guide but I would that that would be interesting. You could even mix it with Japanese mythology. Just a thought for 2017.

That sounds interesting - I shall try incorporate that in if the place is more historical! Thanks for binge watching :)

next Wednesday I'm going to a meetup at my college where we can meet Japanese university students from Japan who are trying to learn English. I speak Japanese, but I was just wondering how should I act around them? I don't want to be obnoxious or make them not like me. the point of the meet up is to make a friend and hang out at least 3 times during the remainder of the semester. I'm really excited, but I'm quite nervous. any advice?
