+STR4P4Zi3 I agree 100%! I've learned blender just by watching a @#$ ton of tutorials! Like, as many as i can find that aren't a child talking into a crappy gaming mic. Gotta have "some" standards. Seriously, though, there's a million things to learn and most of it's all out there, until you get to super advanced shape keys and drivers and auto shape key effects. That's where I'm at. Still having problems learning how to effect shape keys automatically. Instead of just asking, I'll hunt this problem down myself that way when i learn it, it will stick. If you have a passion for it, you'll go hunting and figure it out yourself. Beats raising your hand in the game of life where no one will answer you... They just laugh that you're standing there with your hand up wanting spoon fed like a child... end of rant.

If you computer is using boost on the CPU, it can account for some of the lag. You can get your CPU to run 100% active, but you sacrifice efficiency, and drive up your heat levels, but you gain the fact that the CPU doesn't have to boost up when your manipulating the viewport. I have a decent computer, and have been fighting the lag issue myself, but don't want to burn out my CPU by keeping it peaked all the time.

+Portentous Lad As far as I know the doesn't program the plug-ins that he sells. He works with a programmer. You should ask in a forum with programmers in it. In Epics forum for the Unreal Engine are a lot of people who use blender and know how to develop plug-ins. There even exists a plug-in for making exporting easier to the UE. And I'm sure you could create a plug-in that suites your needs. It just takes some time and dedication. For a plug-in you probably only need basic coding knowledge and understanding of the documentation for the file formats.
