HOW TO MAKE GHANAIAN BEANS STEW | FRIED BEANS | RECIPE |NATIVE |

Beans stew happens to be my all time childhood favorite stew , back in the days my mum always made sure there’s always one dish available to run to and that was beans because it was so filling and could be paired with a bunch of side dishes. It gives me butterflies in my tummy anytime I get to make it.

500g of black Eyed beans (soak in water overnight)
0.3 liter of coconut oil
3 big onions chop 1and half and blend the rest
200g chopped canned tomatoes
2 habanero peppers
A thumb of ginger
4 cloves of garlic
2 tsp of salt
Stinky fish (momone )
A tsp of Locust bean dawadawa
Grilled mackerel (salmon)
2 medium size of dried stock fish
Natural spices ;
A tsp each of ;
Rosemary
Aniseed
Cloves
3 grains of selim
Black pepper corns
Thyme
Other
Optional
Fresh chopped spring onions
