Incredible video especially with the very detailed routes at the end.. You definitely didn't need to share but greatly appreciated! My favorite loop was in swamp of sorrows for goldthorn, khadgar's whisker, bruise weed, and fadeleaf... I was a tank and the goldthorn was used for lesser stoneshield potions, agility, and oil of immolation .. The whisker for healing potions, bruiseweed for trolls blood, fadeleaf for ah Flipping... Also you can farm the whelps to the west in a quick loop for small flame sac for flame breath chili... All in all a quick and painless loop to farm and very useful! Herbalist also get the upper hand in scouting for the cleansed song flowers in felwood.. Great buff to get before going out and farming/raiding too!

Great video! When I hear wild steel bloom I think the fortitude potion which grants a flat 120 health Keep an eye out for starter zone herbs or spam /1 of general in those zones for instant offers for certain herbs that you can snag for cheap from some ppl leveling

Yeah I managed to get alot of cheap Peaceblooms, Silverleafs and Earthroots, which is nice so I can skill up Alchemy on my alts without farming those herbs myself :D

Dont skip "optional" route in felwood since it gives dreamfoil, gromsblood and plaguebloom , atleast 6-7 herb spawns

Big true! I only put it as "optional" as it was barely any herbs there when I did my 3-4 laps for this video, but I have since then farmed this route for SEVERAL hours and I can confirm the optinal route is very good. I just had bad luck and people took the herbs before I got there when I did my initial testing for this video :P

Un'Goro crater is also pretty good and easy just run around the edges getting mountain silver sage, sungrass and blindweed plus you can get un'goro soil to create herbs and morrowgrain to get "free" potions. It also has the occassional pvp for devilsaurs and you can get tips for letting your faction know about their locations if you don't have skinning yourself.

Definitely, I just didn't mention all the zones and all the routes since I wanted to leave that for it's own specific video, but since this is a goldmaking video I thought I'd show atleast 3 routes :P I have a video coming up next Friday (8 days from now) which showcases my Herbalism Route in 8 different zones on each continent - 8 zones on Kalimdor and 8 zones on Eastern Kingdoms! It's already been recorded and edited, and scheduled for upload next Friday :D

On my server (PvP) herbs were selling for less than vendor price, including king's blood. So I switched to mining. Better money and sells fast.

Oh wow :o Might be because not alot of people use consumables yet / aren't focusing on leveling Alchemy, but long term Herbalism is a good choice! On my server alot of herbs are expensive, some are cheap, but the ones you need 200+ skill for are like 20-75silver each :D Mining is also a good choice tho! I will make a Mining Guide similar to this one after I make my follow-up on Herbalism to showcase more Herb Farming Routes, then I will do the same for mining, first a general goldmaking guide then Ore Farming Routes ^^

@@SolheimGaming Yeah when I played WoW 10 years ago I was a herbalist because it made more money, but I played on a PvE server back then. Do you play on PvE or PvP server? I think there is just higher demand for ore on PvP servers because of the engineering PvP META. However I noticed that herbs have higher vendor prices than ore, so if you're on a server where both materials are not in demand, herbalism would be the better choice.

I am on a high pop/full pvp server and can say that I am blowing through all my herbs and elixirs way faster than my buddies who are in engineering. Last night I posted 15 superior mana potions, went to eat, came back and all but one was gone listed at 90s per. Free Actions, Fire Prot., and Frost Oil sell even faster and cost as much if not much more. Wonder why your server isn't as high, probably just saturation.

S olberg it used to be. Until all of these videos came out about how good herbalism is. Now everybody is farming. Remove layers and this then it becomes very very scarce. I wish only healers could farm herbs :(

"Find Herbs" is a spell you get when you learn herbalism :) Other than that, GatherMate or Gatherer are also good addons

I am a max tailor/enchanter i just made the robe of the archmage and concidered dropping tailoring for herb duo to the Gold from flowers Is it viable to go herb/ enchanting? I do have the crusader enchant and some other Nice recipes and just spend 200g on the runned arcanite orb, so would like to stick woth enchanting

Herb/enchanting is definitely viable if you plan on just selling the herbs, or have alchemy on an alt ^^

I believe you have made a mistake with the sungrass being in Thousand Needles. Considering the skill required 200+, classic wowhead suggests that it spawns in places such as EPL, WPL, the hinterlands, Ferelas etc. Places which are 20 levels higher. I believe post CATA it was available there? Good guide nonetheless!

You are absolutely correct! When I wrote this guide I followed Classic Wowhead, which listed it as a spawn from 1000N, but Wowhead has updated it now. Thank you for noticing! Glad you liked the guide aswell ^^
