How much wire do you need for a full head? And do you use 0.4mm wire?
@daisyqdesign10 ай бұрын
It really depends in a lot of factors, such: design of the vine, head size, your personal work technique. It is hard to say. I use mostly yes, 0.4 wire 👌🌸

@@daisyqdesign Ok. Thank you. This will be a first for me. A family friend has asked me to make one for their wedding day. Not my usual type of commission but I’m up for it.

Are you using alternative ends of wire to insert the bead please answer
@daisyqdesign2 жыл бұрын
Hello Jyoti, sorry but I didn’t understand your question 🌸 all work is made on one type of wire, same wire I use to secure beads in places where I need, please check my other videos in Playlist “wire jewellery” maybe you might find information you are looking for 🌸 hope it is helpful 😊

I love this! Did you end up putting it on a metal head band?
@daisyqdesign4 жыл бұрын
Mary Stephens yes, you just need to take another peace of wire and attach it to the metal base:) check my other tutorial about wire hair pin, in that tutorial I attach element to the metal pin. It is almost the same

Any tips to keep the wire from breaking? I’m using 26 gauge and it keeps breaking when I twist the beads onto the wire. 🙏🏼🖤
@daisyqdesign3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. Perhaps you are using a wire that is too thin for large beads, or you twist the wire too many times and it breaks. It depends on the quality and manufacturer of the wire itself as well. What kind of wire ( brand ) you use? It is the right wire for this kind of jewellery? As there are a lot of different wires for different purposes. :)

@@daisyqdesign the wire I have is 26 gauge copper wire by the brand “bead landing” from Michael’s craft store. This is my first attempt at making a hair vine so this video was very helpful!

@@AlliPearson When I started my wire brake as well, as I did too many twists and I twisted to hard, so it might be an issue, hope it helps. As I don't see any issues in the wire you use ;)

How long does the shipping take to get to you ? I’ve never bought from any of these countries, nor from the website mentioned, so I’m curious. Thank you. I appreciate your response 🙂🙌🏼

Ang Lu it depends on from where do I order :) if I order from Europe and I am based in Europe too, it takes around 2 weeks, if I order from USA normal post then around 1 month, it was much faster before
