You can't use this for portobello mushrooms. You can use a pasteurised compost mix.

This is a different mix from masters mix, but you can use it for growing the same mushrooms. It's for growing mushrooms that grow on wood. Like reishi, lions mane, shiitake, oysters, Pholiotas etc.
