I just made some mehndi today but I used your first recipe with coffee, eucalyptus oil, lemon, cloves and coffee. And Nupur henna was all I could find.... Do you think it'll work? And which works best coffee or tea? What's your favorite mehndi powder to use? And what's your favorite ingredients and way to make mehndi? Thanks so much have a great day. Namaste 🙏

Question: Do you ever add sugar? I have tried to make my own henna paste and I added sugar, as this is what was taught at hanna convention. It comes out very nice in the bowl but when I apply it on my hand it spreads and runs. I see you do not use sugar. I will try your recipe. Thank you so much for posting! You explain it very well.

I have never heard of henna needing cinnamon and cumin to the mix. That's really odd. Cinnamon can be a skin irritant to some so be careful.

I really hope someone can answer me, I made one Mehndi in New Delhi and the guy who made it put some oil on my skin before apply the henna paste. Do someone know which kind of oil he used? The smell was really good and helped the henna to get a really dark colour on my skin. In home I use to make Mehndi on my skin but the tattoo dont get too much dark as the tattoo he made on me. Again. Would be appreciated if someone answer me. Thanks. (The guy who made it was in the plaza located in South Ext. p II) :P
