It's a bitter truth but if you look at it from a "selfish" point of view the reason why women feel like he's becoming distant is because we put all our attention and eggs into one basket: him. We forget about ourselves, our careers, health, personal time, etc. Men are like rubber bands (well actually people in general are like this): the further you pull that rubber band away the harder and quicker it'll come back and hit you hard. It's just natural attraction and there's literally no way to change how human attraction works. It's how we're wired. Staying busy shouldn't be looked at as a game you're playing with your partner. It should be seen as you're giving them space to do what THEY wanna do while you have your own space to do what YOU wanna do! We always forget about ourselves, ladies, especially when we have kids. Take back that time for yourself and give him more distance than he asks for.

He has contracted covid from a work/family trip and uk lockdown means we couldnt see each other even if he wasnt ill.
