How to make Honey Fermented Garlic

This is a very simple recipe: add garlic, add honey, add some red pepper flakes if you'd like. Then burp the jar every few days and enjoy after a week

Yes, it's been the off-season since November. Right now is mostly carpenter bee stuff which doesn't lend itself well to video. July is when yellow jackets take off in my part of Ohio. I have a few videos in the queue from last year but I have to be sparing with them

Spicy honey is good in lots of stuff. The garlic can just be eaten as is or put it in anything garlic goes in that can handle a bit of sweetness

therefore destroying or killing bees and their nests for their honey could be considered a form of poaching and this kills and destroys thousands of bees and their nests?? how does it work in your country? I speak for the bees not for the hornets

Most honey in the USA is from bee keepers. Honey bee keepers have specially built boxes the bees build their nests in. It allows harvesting of honey without the destruction of the nest. Basically farming, not poaching.

Like the other comment on this, in the US we use boxes and the bees are smoked out and the parts that are ready to be harvested are taken and the top of the wax is cut off and the honey is drained and then the box is returned to the other boxes and the bees keep living inside
