The sampled bass track (the dimitri from paris tune) is pretty much a straight lift of MFSB's Love is the message. It might not help with your producing but it's a great track and worth checking out.

Why there’s no Tracklib ad in your video? You are the perfect example of how to use samples from other songs! Great stuff man, really like your videos. This is exactly that type of sound I love ❤

Thanks for your work! You help me to understand so much things! I have others artists (I think) interesting for you like Motor City Drum Ensemble (maybe it seems like Vynehall in production?), Mr. G or Point G (his alias Dj Gregory is masterclass too)... 💪💪💪

Jesus finally, was just listening to Leon a few weeks ago and wondering how his gems come together. Any chance you can do an So Inagawa or Alexandir next, there's literally nothing out there covering anything.
@hollowgroundproductions2 жыл бұрын
Alexandir is very niche but very interesting producer. I've done a personal tutorial on him before for an artist, but it's gonna take a while for him to get to the front of the queue for the public videos. Just so you don't think im overlooking you, mate!
@MusicBaked2 жыл бұрын
@@hollowgroundproductions Thanks for the reply bud, appreciate it! I was gonna mention Kettenkarussel aside from So Inagawa but I saw someone already said it below, really any of these would be super cool to see someone having a go at it properly, seems like you would nail it! Any chance you can shine some light what you're working on for your next few before you get around to this? :)

@@MusicBaked Sorry but it's all super top secret, boss! I will tease a wee bit however. Here are some clues foe 2023. Christian, max, jon, float, lapa, aute, ross, dj, all day, O'f, joy, over, trent, cari, gestaff....and more!

Hey man I just want to say I love your content and you do amazing job! I wanted to ask if you could possible do a video on Björk’s Vespertine and her micro beats? I’ve been trying for a long time to figure it out and I know you would do an amazing job!! If you ever made this I would be so so grateful! Regardless, keep up the terrific work, you’re doing great!

great tutorial as always! have you ever heard of a duo called kettenkarussel? seems like something that would definitely be up your alley! especially their album insecurity guard. here's a link - kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2fSYY19qNdofck :) the last track on the album is clearly v boards of canada influenced but the definitely have their own sound! v cool

I'm a big Giegling fan in general. There will be a few Giegling tutorials coming up in 2023, including one on Dwig, Leafar Legov, and Giegling label in general. U can check out some stuff ive done which is my tribute to Giegling here . kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqOpdKhsa86nbq8. And if you wanted to support the channel, you might consider getting in to me for a custom tutorial, where i can do a detailed breakdown of the track "Bruedar" at the end of Insecurity Guard.

Are folks really pushing their 4/4 kicks off grid??
@1chrisanderson11 ай бұрын
quantized everything is so boring. I'm a drummer and it feels like a cardinal sin to just program a gridded 4 bar kick drum loop. But yeah it's all about the swing. Longer phrases with more natural, humanistic variance are more interesting to me, and i don't feel compelled to dance when the drum groove in a track is too robotic or vanilla. But as to why the uploader nudged things forward globally, i think that's just a quick way to make sure that a lot of the other elements feel slightly behind the beat
