This video is amazing and right to the point! I have been searching for days for somebody just to do this simple thing. You got right to the point and covered what the best part about this plug-in is in my opinion. For some reason nobody else gets to this cool part of it. Thank you! Now I feel confident in purchasing the plug-in. Big thumbs up to you!

Happy to help! It's definitely an underrated part of Toontrack's plugins in general. It's something they should show off a lot more on their own channel because it's what sets these plugins apart more than any others.

EXACTLY!!! Someone told me it could act as a bass player reacting to your real time guitar or key playing. A couple of videos kind of skimmed past this amazing feature. This is actually the only reason I want this plug-in in the first place. I totally agree with you by saying that all of their factory videos do not hardly even enhance this best feature in my opinion, hardly at all. I was actually hoping you would keep selecting on all of those different patterns to give a better example of the diversity of how the base is played along with your key section. But either way you got to the point and made the decision for me. Thank you so much again

I'm getting both soon. EzKeys and EzBass. Great tools. If people knew about those they wouldn't be complaining about beat block

These plugins are nuts

Another Monster Productions no doubt. I plan to cover ezdrummer as well. I think that one is what I’ll use most because it’s where I’m weakest. Especially when it comes to multiple genres outside of trap.

How do you make basslines with diminished chords with EZ-Bass?
@alisiabagris37843 жыл бұрын
Do I need to specify the scale in Ezbass? I see you do not specify the key of the track. My Ezbass dont play in the scale, but somewhere nearby. Can you show in more detail how to make it play exactly in the key of the track and it is desirable that the notes match. I have a demo version and if it is so fake then it makes no sense to buy.
@Inflightmuzik3 жыл бұрын
You can change the song key at the bottom middle of the plugin. Hopefully that’s available in the demo...if not yeah, hard to use/convince someone to buy it.

I had a cool sounding chords progression but scaler is detecting dim#5 but ez keys is giving me g7/b what's with that?
@Inflightmuzik3 жыл бұрын
As much music theory I know, I don't have everything memorized in terms of the names of chords. So I really can't help with whatever scaler is telling you other than it's probably giving you the relative major/minor. Which means it's the same exact notes, but different name depending what scale you're playing in. One of the many reasons I don't teach music theory traditionally vs. how I taught myself.

Ez Bass only translates basic chords. They need to improve on the chord recognition

Only people who don't know how a real slap bass sounds can live with how the EZ Bass garbage sounds !
@Inflightmuzik4 жыл бұрын
I definitely wouldn't call it garbage, but I also don't compare software to hardware. I've never heard any software emulation of any kind sound identical to its hardware counterpart. That's not what I listen for when it comes to instrument plugins or fx...it's more about utility first and then finding a place to use that sound or shape it into something useful. From what I hear, this is a great alternative to buying a real bass guitar and learning how to slap. I'm not looking for that sound in particular vs finding a good bass sound at all and being able to articulate it beyond my ability on a midi keyboard. I would stick with a real bass if you want a real bass on your tracks.
