This was one of my favorite episodes to record! What questions do you have about making friends in adulthood?

My biggest thing is how to not feel like you’re falling behind in life when friends are getting married and having babies and you’re just starting your education or career .. and such

Oh yes 100% true. A lesson everyone needs to learn. Also we should learn to face the truth when a friendship doesn’t work anymore and to recognise a friendship goes trough seasons, us as people go trough seasons of life.

Was so confused and literally thought that was Austin Aries in the thumbnail and had to ask "that dude has friends still?!" but it wasn't him.

Very insightful and informative, I've got 4 best friends since kindergarten and we've had there through thick and thin and can't imagine them not in my life and we make annual summer trips to reminisce and keep the bonds ❤😊

Close friendship takes time and it also takes knowing what kind of person they are when things go wrong for them in their life. Also how they treat other people

You know why those 15% don’t have close friends Is bc they were too busy chasing shit that didn’t matter. All those times you get invited to go out and you say no, eventually people will stop asking you.

Just a fun fact: Ned’s was very populair in the Netherlands aswel! It was shown way more than Drake and Josh. All my friends in Middle school watched it!

“Everything but the butt.” Sounds like a homoromantic asexual relationship. That plus their heteroromantic heterosexual relationships with their wives makes them biromantic heterosexuals.

Interesting that they said women are better at this? I have never really kept friendships, if I even had them. However, I have dated many men who had the same friends since like elementary school. I think it really depends on what type of school you went to, what type of parents you have, how highly populated places, etc. Some people are just different. My older sister has her same friends from elementary school, but they are all pretty superficial friendships. Anytime. I have made a friend. It's like a deep cut friendship and they only last a couple of years, I have one friend that I've had the past 10 years, everyone else was an acquaintance.

Every time I hear Devon talk about friendship I get so excited because I relate to everything he says. And as someone named Stormi the end of this was funny. 😂⛈️

Thank you for your tips! 🥰 I have loved watching both podcasts. Any tips on how to be confident in expressing my needs and trusting my judgment in friendships?

Making friends will always be a challenge until everyone starts to be more open with their feelings. I think this had a lot of great examples to strive for when seeking intimate and platonic relationships. I also want to mention that who ever added the subscribe bell pop up should tone it down a little bit. It’s distracting from the conversation when it pops up every five minutes. ❤

I only have one person that I consider a friend coming to my bridal shower this weekend. The rest of the attendees are family-friends, and family, which I am also very happy about… But even this friend, we never actually hung out on our own… It was only through church choir (where we met), and seeing each other every once in a while at church… with the occasional text and “hey we should go get coffee”. she did invite me to her bridal shower, and wedding, which was really sweet… But I was such a social person in high school, so when those friendships drifted apart, it hit me really hard, and I feel like I don’t know how to make friends… So everyone shut up! I’m dedicating the next hour of my life and some note pad for this podcast lol

For me its a bit more easier now as a grown ass adult to make friends now than it was 20 years ago when i was a kid or from middle-high school. Only because now i have more knowledge and i speak my mind and really dont care what others say or think about me or because im not afraid to be myself around others that now im comfortable making friends. I don't know if that makes sense
