How do you stop the hand plane from cutting into the jig bevel face?

It is good to shave a little so that the cutting edge does not hit the jig.

Thank you for your reply. I'm still unsure how I could use the jig to guide my cut angle and not cut the jig at the same time.

The jig is made from a hardwood and the end grain is very tough. Moreover, when planing the little kumiko, you use a light touch, just enough to cut the soft wood but not enough to mar the face of the jig. Very similar to a razor when you shave. The hair is cot but not the skin. Mark

thank you for your comment. In my case, I just dropped the tip of the jig to a slightly larger angle. Then, it can not be scraped beyond that angle. In other words, it means that the angle comes out when it can not be scraped. However, a technique is required.

You did not show how you cut the notches.

thank you for your comment. I'm sorry I did not show a notch. However, it is important to make a work by trial and error on your own. Thank you.
