Drainage Cells if i am not wrong need to install reverse side i mean gap or whole side on top please confirm because it's purpose is to also store excess water and drain extra

BUT THE GUY FROM WHOM I BOUGHT THIS, HE TOLD ME TO KEEP THIS WAY SO THE FIBER TOUCHES THE TOP OF THEM AND THE WATER FLOWS ALL AROUND DOWNWARDS. AND TO MY IDEA ALSO THAT ON THE OPPOSITE OF IF THE WATER WILL GET TRAPPED IN THE WHOLES BUT WONT BE ABLE TO COME OUT. BEST REGARDS
