The whole is so you can turn it inside out :) If you put the whole in the middle then it gets covered up by the bit that goes across the centre~ You can stitch the dangly bits to the actual bow if you like but I'm lazy so usually just leave it XD

This is a great tutorial; thanks! I viewed a tutorial for a similar bow from a well-respected sewist. The instructions said that we needed 2 yards of continuous fabric. Your tutorial conserves fabric (always a plus!) and produces very quality bows. Thanks!

Its really rough and I cant rememeber exactly what measurements I used! If you're too scared to cut the material though, you could make it out of paper and use that size as a template for the material! I hope that helps

Heya, you don't need a sewing machine! You can hand sew it! But it will take longer to hand sew so I use a machine I understand that some people don't have a sewing machine though so they can hand sew it :)

Hi hi! Would like to know.. What is the ratio of the measurements to make the bow?.. Like you said it'll be 50cmx30cm.. so how do I go into adjusting the size? And.. Just times it by the amount you want to :) so if you want it double the size make it 100x 60 cm or if you want it half the size make it 25x15 cm~ but really I'd make a mock one out of cheap cotton material first to get the sizing right and use that as a template~ No problem lovely ^^
