My daughter brought me lavender honey from France. I enjoyed every drop! Now I'll try making my own. My nephew has bees so I can get local honey. This year a bear helped himself to the honey! Never thought of using it in a latte. I use it in my tea. I look forward to your videos.

Growing up on Lake Michigan here in MI, sunsets were the superstars. We all loved watching the sun inch its way down at the end of the day until the very last little piece of it finally disappeared into the water - and then it would all happen again the next day. My Grandfather would see the sun set over the Big Lake and remark, "Just as pretty as a picture." Calm summertime mornings on the beach were for me, as they clearly are for you, extraordinarily peaceful, reflective affairs. I'd often get up early and walk to the pier or maybe the other way to the end of the property, all the while experiencing the lake gingerly lap onto the beach, cooling my feet as I strolled while the sun began to slowly, but firmly, take command of the day.

I do not have access to fresh Lavender. Have you tried to use lavender essential oils in the honey rather than fresh picked? If so, how many drops would put in a quart jar?
