If you burn it it also keeps mosquitos away while also smelling good. I'm currently making incense cones out of some that I powdered using a zester by grating a single stalk. I just grated them wet and then forced the powder into aluminum foil cones and let them sit overnight and then removed the foil and let them dry on a counter.

@@VanisKitchen turns out it wasn't the best idea. The large size made me have to use a blow torch to get it to light and once it lit it really didn't smell like lemon at all and burned REALLY quickly. A cone that was about 3/4 of an inch wide at the base and half an inch at the top and over an inch tall took less than 3 minutes to burn. I think some filler is needed to slow it down, sawdust or something.

I think you should avoid turning the leaves into powder. Maybe used as cut leaves or tied and left in soups or drink. The bulb/ stem ( after removing the leaves) is the one made into powder. Besides, used in cooking. You can use lemongrass whole, sliced or pounded to a paste. To use whole, slice off the very bottom of the stalk, and peel off any dried-out layers, then bash the woody top end with a rolling pin to soften, and help release some of the aromatic oils.

I saw the powder inside something but did not know what it was and I didn't hear you say what you used to grind into powder because you did not state that in the video. I think the video would be better if you showed what you used to powder it and maybe even using the device in your video, whatever that was.
