If you don't have long nails, you may use a flat screw driver, edge of a ruler or a small card board piece ( 2:50 ) More tips: 1. Make sure the strips are straight 2. Be gentle when you tie the knot 3. Make sure there is no gap at the corners when you pull the knot to form a pentagon shape ( 1:06 ) 4. Wrapping should not be too loose or too tight. When finished wrapping it should look like a perfect pentagon( 2:38 ) 5. Finally be patient. Don't worry if you can't make them on your first try. Just keep practicing with waste copy papers. That's how I learnt. And don't forget if so many people can do it..you can do it too. Just practice, practice, practice...good luck :) 1:06 )

I have seen a tumblr post about the 1,000 stars. It was a story with a girl that was visited by a man who showed her how to make paper stars. He told her that if she makes 1,000 he would grant her a wish. And so she made 1,000 stars over the years whenever she was sad or feelt lonely and one day she made the 1,000th one. The man camr back and offered to leave to another world with her but sue invites him as a friend because that's the only thing she needed I have decided to do this too. Whenever I'm sad. I'm going to write some messages into them and open them up again one day

this is making me cry. i just searched up "craft making" for our art subject and as a night sky lover, i always look up the sky watching the stars and moon shining so bright and talk to them because it gives me hope. and the story behind this lucky star really touched my heart because tonight, there are no stars and i am really feeling so down because of some bad news of my loved ones. thank you for Hoshi for making the lucky star! 🥺💜

I watched other tutorials and also looked at the traditional instructions but never understood why I was messing it up until I saw your video. I realized when I fold the paper I just have to let it follow the direction it wants to go and make sure it's flush with the side of the paper just like with other origami crafts. I also liked how you suggested to make the loop with only one side. In another video they had me cross the first loop in the middle of the paper which left far too much paper sticking out. Thanks for your clear video!

Thank you so much for this. ^ω^ I've been sick since this sunday and I was soooo bored. And scared, because my doctors don't like the condition I'm in. And when I found this video I had sudden urge to do this. I tried. Many times. I figured out, that I can also use lined paper from exercise book and just copy it on coloured paper, it makes really beautiful tiny stars. By now I have about 400 and it makes me feel so happy.^ω^ I just can't do anything else except listening to *music. Mum just came home and brought whole bunch of lined papers in many colours. I've never got so much support in my life from my family. I just want to ask something... 💜 Since 2016 I had huge support through some hard times (in school, with family members, anxiety, death of grandpa,... it was shitty year) from one *K-POP group. 💜 They are all working so hard to make everything better, to help their families, fans and everyone, even the people that don't like them. 💜 They had so many problems and I just wanna support them, but I was just born tooooooo faaaar. T_T So when I saw lucky stars I just want to send them to my sunshines!! 💜 #Bangtan Do you think that it would surprise them and make them happy or would it be something like insulting their culture etc. I just don't want to mess this up.... Please can anyone give me some advice???? T_T PS: Sorry if there are any mistakes. English is my 4th or 5th language and it's just not as good as other. ^ω^ Update: I just found out I can't do only thing I have enough money for, so I'm just gonna crawl back to my bed, cry for some time and do more stars, because it's the only thing that can help me rn.

Only reason I even watched it was to send my friend video on how to make them. Hope rest of your videos leave me feeling great. whenever I fold the ribbon bit everything just fails it bends i don't know how
@ArtsnCraft4u8 жыл бұрын
Sorry you couldn't fold it. It might take more tries but you sure can do it. Just try to find out where exactly you are going wrong. Make sure the folds are not too loose or tight around the pentagon and while pinching the sides make sure to keep fingers on the sides and not in the middle. Hope you try again. good luck!!!

That's what I thought when I first tried..but I loved it so much that i didn't want to give up.....try to find out what you are doing wrong.. it could be the way we wrap the strip..it should not be too loose or too tight ..and follow all the instructions showed in the video..I promise you can do it..You just need to practice..practice..practice..good luck!!

I do them exactly like you! Made many for last Christmas and new year for my colleagues, family and friends and wrote one word into each, as a good wish, or something you might want to achieve, or an impulse... I had always some stripes with me, and mostly we ended up sitting there, folding lucky stars, taking and having a good time together... one of my colleagues even adopted the idea for her own students...it's so fantastic what joy a small piece of paper can bring...thank you for sharing, that's an excellent instruction and good hints ❤🙏
