Not a gardener - just wondering - Is there any particular reason another pot went inside the bucket. I thought the whole idea of re-using the paint bucket (and going through all that effort) was to use it as a pot - so I was a bit surprised towards the end of the video, seeing another pot going inside it. (?)

Repotting a plant stresses it out and isn’t always a good idea, so sometimes it’s better to keep the plant in its original pot and set that in a larger nice planter.

@@bethyoung6336 what you have done is not repotting! And also repotting does not stress out any plant, in fact it is required if its roots have grown too many ch in the existing pot. There is no point in transferring a plant along with the pot into a large bucket.

I don’t think the paint will stay on there long. I did the same thing and the paint came off. It’s very hard to paint on plastic pails without priming them first.. Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful creation. :)
