Yeah I was wondering if it would taste okay without dates, etc, but you could always use confectioners sweetener.

How many days does this milk keep for in the fridge? Does it taste wierd without the salt?

I haven't tried this yet, but if you happen to have cheese cloth, metal mesh, or a nut bag, you could strain it through just for your own personal taste. 😊

Be sure to discard the water from the soaked macadamia nuts. Like all soaked nuts, the resultant liquid is phytic acid, which prevents the absorption of iron, zinc, and calcium and may promote mineral deficiencies.

Y’all I just made this and it tastes like carrot juice. Would not recommend. . . It does have the closest texture and color to dairy milk than any other milk I’ve had, I’ll give it that.

Maybe you have to use some kind of sweetener? I don't know. I guess that's why some people put honey or syrup. There's also agave which is an alternative for sugar.

I am having a problem: It seems no matter how long I blend it, my Macadamia Nut Milk has all the “pulp” left. I do soak all the nuts for 2 hours and use new water for blending as instructed. The video especially said I don’t need to strain. What am I missing?

I'm pretty sure you have to blend it with hot(not boiling) water, because hot water makes it creamier. OR you strain it after you blend it through a straining cloth. I'm no expert though.

A tiny pinch of Celtic Salt. I don't know how to explain it but it balances the flavor.
